The raw memory bandwidth of the read and copy performance fritters back and forth, faster and slower than the Gigabyte 785G between stock and overclocked numbers. The copy performance is largely uniform as it's predominantly limited by CPU-NB frequency, however under overclocking the Asus does manage to secure a bit of a latency advantage.

Sisoft Sandra tells much the same story - the Asus and Gigabyte boards average out with a similar raw performance but the Asus' latency is slightly reduced.
